Purple Mashed Potatoes!

Is it ice cream? Some kind of berry compote? Does it contain Blue Dye #2?
No to all of the above!
It’s purple mashed potatoes!!!!
Violet picked them out at the Farmer’s Market and Richard smashed them with butter and cream. But of course you can go vegan by using some of the water you boil them in, or vegetable broth.
They REALLY dress up the palette and the palate! Kid-friendly!
